The oil will evap quite quickly with highway loads and open throttle. However the oil will leave a coke residue. As the O2 sensor function attempts to keep O2 in the exhaust to a minumun, there will not be much O2 in the exhaust to help burn off the coke deposits. So this might take longer to burn sway than you might expect. So I would be inclined to give it time to clear up. Oil may have been blown past the cat to the rest of the exhaust system and that needs to get burned out to.
After you disturbed the turbo mount, the O2 sensor might not be seeing a good ground for thru the sensor contact to the down pipe, or the down pipe's contact to the turbo, or the turbos contact to the block via oil lines, support stay and exhaust manifold nuts and studs. So get you buddies to check for resistance from the O2 sensor body to ground.
If you intall a new sensor, clean the contact face that the sensor has to get a good contact there.
If the O2 sensor is oil fouled, it could be rather useless and the mixture could then be bad, contributing to its not burning clean or the cat.
Some O2 sensors can be rescued with a good burning with a torch.
No check engine light? The sensor must then be working as far as the ECU is concerned. If you had a 96+, you would have a sensor after the cat and it would certainly be throwing a cel as the carbon rich cat would be using all avail oxygen to burn off the carbon and produce CO.
Check your plugs again. The IC and pipes got oil in them and that is still moving around. The combustion chambers may be messy too. Some Techron Concentrate will help.
