this person still owes $4500 on this one! If you bumped into my posts from last month, you'd see I had the timing belt replaced b/c the camshaft seals were leaking onto it. So, I had the new tensioner assembly installed at 95k, then I had this work done at 104k. My indie tells me, now that he's got the thing apart, and I still have it in my garage, that the tensioner roller (the new style, also replaced at 95k) feels like it has a flattened or frozen bearing, it "clicks" when it turns. So I had to replace that again lest it freeze up.
Now I'm wondering is there a problem with the "new" assembly? There have been some reports here of T-belt problems with V6's with just about our mileage on it (over 100k) which, by now, all should have the new tensioner. Hmmmmmm. Swedecar? Where are you brother?
