Thank you for your much appreciated help. Well, I finally got around to testing it and here are the results:
Removed the ACC fuse, while car was off and key removed.
Replaced ACC fuse and started the engine.
Blower Motor working while engine running.
Thought to myself, "Dean is a genius! Alright!"
Turned off the car.
Restarted the engine, and Blower Motor did not work! =(
Disconnected the Battery with no discernable difference in behaviour.
Got the Blower Motor to work while engine running again, BUT only after I removed the key from the ignition. Removing and the reinserting the ACC fuse while the engine was running or the electrical system was on did not achieve any positive (if only temporary) results. Only after the key was removed and the ACC fuse removed and replaced and engine running did I get the Blower Motor to work. But, this did not work everytime. I dunno...
I did not remove the rust from both connectors as the Blower Motor seemed to be getting plenty of power while the car's electrical system was activated.
BTW the hood is removed and I noticed a switch/or spring that protrudes upward encased in a black boot that is on the driver's side close to the firewall under the hood. Looks like it is pushed down when the hood is closed. I pushed it down while the engine is running to see if the Blower Motor would activate, but it didn't. Do you know what this switch is?
Well back to scratching around...
