I am not aware of anyone reporting this operation. If the offset of the spindle bolt up surface is unchanged, then it will work. I expect that there is good chance of this. Do one side before disturbing the other.
You will need 6 point flare wrenches to remove the brake line. Get some penetrating oil on the threads of the brake line nut threads and on the line going into it. When you remove, watch the steel brake line carefully. If the steel line moves with the nut you are about to destroy it.
Search drs<underscore>install and read my brake posts. Read where I replaced the rear calipers. This will answer yoiur questions.
I would check the OD of the threads on the brake line nut on the new and the old and confirm they are the same before going forward. If the old calipers came without those, it will be hard to do. A caliper is good to have to check things, and fitting, hut-bold hex sizes. Note that the brake bleed bolts can be different sizes too. Use penetrating oil on those too and keep rubber caps on. Make sure you can free them up on the old calipers before proceeding. You can put penetrating oil on the inside of these too if you are having a problem.
I don't know if you need the old complete or partial old calipers. Let us know.
