Made the change from dino to M-1 10-30/0-40 (respectively) synthetic on my 94 900 SE at 100k, and my 00 9-3 SE at 46k. In both case the cars began to leak oil within days. This is no coincidence. My 94 SE leaks from every place there is to leak from. Maybe the lubricating qualities are better, but I would only do this from when the car was new or less than 20k. The 0-40 seems to slow leaks a bit compared to the 10-30 which cause the car to pee oil.
