The RHD clutch cable was modified and now has different fixing points at the bulkhead and gearbox. These come with the cable if it's a Saab part - not sure about others. The difference these make is to the route to try and improve the pedal feel and resistance.

I'm not sure if the washers fix that Sean mentions was also for RHD cars. no mention of it from my Saab dealer, just the fixing kit.

If you can last the two weeks, I'd see if they sort everything while they are replacing the return spring. They will have to take the pedal off to do this, so it may be that they sort it putting everything back together again.
