Thanks for both of your answers :)
I agree that the 3M products are great for taking out swirl and minor gunk. I also have seen how a car looks best after its first wax job.
I will go back to Wax Shop Super Glaze, or maybe try a wax that I had bought at an open air market (Orange county)-- too bad I can't remember its name, the cool thing about it is that it can go on any black plastic on the car and not leave a milky result.
You guys have any advice on leather? I bought Armor All Leather cream because it says there are UV inhibitors. On my leather chairs in the house I like Mink Oil. Mink Oil can turn leather a shade darker so I won't use it on my tan colored leather.
One last question: ;)
A lot of auto products make a big deal over not containing silicone and some tout the addition of silicone to the formula-- Whats up with that?
A long time ago there was a school of thought that silicone is bad on rubber but I don't remember why.
Silicone HAS done wonders in Southern California but that's a story for another day, :0
