Yours is a transition year. IIRC, some later model '93's were T5's. All T5's use the Motorola 68332 microcontroler. The next generation, for engine management, was the T7 - not sure what microcontroller is used. There were no 9000 w/T7's, AFAIK - up 'til '98 they all used the T5. Before the T5 there was LH Jetronic, which controlled the fuel, and another separate controller for the ignition, the DI box. All T5's are essentially the same - they all have the same microcontroller, the 68332, and the only differences are in the memory chips, which hold the software that controll just about everything on your engine. If you look in your 'aquarium', which is where the ECM's are located, you'll see a small rectangular metal box on the drivers' side. If this box has a large 70-pin connector, then it's a T5. If there's two separate boxes, then you have the LH & DI/APC controllers. I think there was an predecessor to the T5, too - but not sure if it was fitted to vehicles here in the 'States.
