I certainly enjoy my 2000, but will always fondly recall the simplicity of the '86 900S we owned back in the day. It had a sunroof and multi-adjustable seats, but both were MANUAL. I thought highly of the elegance of mechanical design required to provide a sunroof you could easily whip open with a single stroke of one hand... and it worked smoothly and flawlessly the 9 yrs we owned the car. Same with the seats; ajusted all sorts of ways, including height all with simple mechanical latches/levers. Great engineering that provided the owner with years of trouble free service. I'd love my Viggen even more if it had manual features vs sure-to-fail motors and electronics. I'm not even a fan of the climate control... would rather used dials to select fan speed, distribution, temp as I prefer, when I prefer. Those days are gone folks. It's becoming hard to find a car that doesn't shift for you. Soon you'll wake up on a Saturday morning to hear your car idling in the garage because you forgot to reset it from weekday to weekend mode.
