The parkway can get really jammed up -- especially if your commute would include the Driscoll Bridge area, and around the Newark area, even the more northerly exits near the GW bridge, tunnels.
For me, a lot would depend on my family situation. Wife's attitude towards it (she'll be doing more), age of kids -- and will you have the energy and patience to be a fun Dad to them after 2+ hours on the road. Also, will you be able to get home for events at the kids' schools, sports, clubs, teams, etc. Can you get home for doctors appointments?
And -- what will you have to give up? If you run or go to the gym -- that could be much harder to find the time with such a long commute.
(and finding the time to change the oil, say every month or so!)
Good luck -- Pete
