The service manager (who was kind of an asshat) was saying that we must done something really bad to the car (beyond just hitting a pothole) and was going to inspect underneath for evidence. There was no frame contact with the ground the and the pothole did not cause a flat or bent wheel. Basically the impact wasn't beyond what you would expect in normal driving, though the manager alleged that it couldn't not have happened unless something out of the ordinary happened. When it was confirmed that there was nothing that could have caused that to break, they reverted back to well it's out of warranty so this all we'll do.
I'll try to get a pic of it so you can see, this is the upper mount.
Is there away to get beyond the regional service rep and deal with somebody over their head?
