by the dealer under warranty, what is the next step? dealer rep? someone else? I have multiple problems that this situation applies to but I ask this in particular about a brake booster whine. The service writer heard it, but it won't whine when the techs try. It has been months and multiple trips. I've even gone special and then it won't whine when there. The high pitch whine is really annoying when driving. Dealer is afraid Saab won't pay for the part if it turns out not to be bad.

How does the solution change for such a problem in general versus the booster whine?

I already have someone at Saab customer service involved. As usual, they are of little help.
