about A4 and A6. Like this one: http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/othercars/index.html?bID=6600
Audis seem to be expensive to fix if you go to a dealer, or even some indies. And being German, the parts can be pricey. If you DIY they may not be too bad, but it seems you REALLY have to know what to look for and pay attention to the maintenance/service cycle.
Like any other used car, knowing it's history is important. A friend (who does not do any of his own work) had a TT said he loved the car but was not remotely prepared for what he called "Audi repair costs," and has gone back to Bimmers as his ride of choice.
Be aware of the need for specialized tools on Audis, and some complicated repair processes. Someone on the Other Cars board a while back told of a place where you can get all the factory procedures. You'll have to hunt/search for it.
