I've always loved P1800s myself but I think you're right to bail on this one. It's exceedingly rare to be able to restore a car and come out of it for anything close to what you can buy a restored one for. Throw in what it'll cost to get it and you have a real bloodbath money-wise. P1800s just aren't worth enough to absorb a couple of grand in shipping. They seem pop up pretty regularly, be patient and be ready to move fast when you see the right one. When it does (and you can drive it home) you'll very happy you didn't get yourself saddled with this basket case.
