I have found a project car that looks like a good candidate, freshly repainted, but it's currently in non-running condition and has all of the glass removed - the current owner has given up his plans for completion of his restoration. The car also comes with a manual transmission and necessary parts to convert it from its dreadful two-speed automatic. Car is now in Nevada (dry, rust free!) and I'm in Chicago.
Any good ideas on how to do this? The only thing that I can think of is to rent a fairly large truck and load everything into the back (how?), or rent a vehicle that has towing capability and a tow dolly/trailer. Alternatively, are there services for this sort of thing?
