...last month, I had a rather enjoyable experience with one.
I was on the Motorway(freeway) 2 lanes. The car in front of me was doing about 5mph over the limit and we were over taking a few slower cars in the slow lane.
I never tailgate, so I has plenty of room between me and the guy infront, just waiting for him to finish over taking then I'd pass him... no hurry.
But the guy behind didnt think so... *LOL* he was doing the usual... sitting to the extreme left of the fast lane and flashing the lights in his silly little Peugeot 509 or something (Stupid middle aged ass in a suit). So happily I ignored him and he was right on my bumper still weaving behind...
Once the car in front pulled in I calmly over took it and pulled into the slower lane (which was totally clear now). Once the dumbass in the Peugeot tired to pass I just put down my window... calmly raised the middle finger extended my arm out the window and floored it. Fortunately I was in my Saab 9-3 Aero (the euro-viggen-wannbe)... Did that for about 1/2 a mile, (the acceleration, not the finger!)
Needless to say he didnt have the balls to over take me after that.... What an ass...
But I guess you really should just ignore them... tailgaters arent really worth the effort.
