Hi,
After months of car shopping and many postings on Saabnet, I purchased a
new 2002 9-5 wagon/auto/premium package/ Black interior and exterior, this morning for low $28K. I think/hope it was a good deal. It only has 185 miles on it. It comes with the full new car warranty/ option for 0-0-0 financing for 36 months.
I asked that the oil be changed and the tires rotated since the car may well have been sitting in the lot for a year plus. The salesman wasn't sure if they would rotate the tires, since that might also necessitate a realignment. A friend commented that I should actually ask for new tires, since if the car has been sitting for a year, tires develop flat spots.
1)Would some sage tire expert give me an opinion. There are Michelins on the car. Should I ask for new tires? How important is this(if they resist)?
2)Also, is their anything aside from the oil I should ask to be changed or checked or wary about? Sparks? Thanks in advance.
