I can't say for sure, but 9000s are generally pretty good beasts. I have a '96 CSE 5-speed I bought with 90K on it and it has 134K now, runs fine, has only had basically normal wear and maintenance issues.
There are a few unique things. The upper motor mounts tend to be ignored, so you find cars with those needing replacing, but it's not a big deal. The heater core and heater blower are hard to get at and *will* die, but once done you can forget about them for a long time. The auto tranny can be questionable, but ours is the original had only had the fluid changed a couple of times and works fine. DI cassettes, as on most Saabs, can go south, but mostly they are very solid. I wouldn't have stuck my kid in one if they weren't.
Ask on the 9K board and go to quasimotors.com and you'll get loads of info. Might be a good car for your needs.
