You should first eliminate the leaking head gasket theory. Do you notice sweet smelling smoke comming out of the tail pipe even after its warm that seems heavy? You could take a sample of your coolant and have it analyzed at a radiator shop for hydrocarbon contamination. Do a compression test also.
Unless your cat is plugged, it won't rob you of power at high boost. I cant imagine how the head gasket theory would cause irradic power loss (power loss due to low compression, but not irradic).
Have you checked your plugs? Change them. Check that your DI is not leaking oil. See Quasimotor site for tips on DI preservation. I took his advice and put dielectric grease in the books to avoid misfire. Try these diy stuff before you take it to the dealer. In my opinion, dealers aren't interested in solving "performance" problems. Unless you have a Hirsch tuned saab.
