copy and paste for additional clearing.

for crist sake Jonh please read the old treads and see if this very same information has been written in there in one form or the other, with the help of lawn movers, marathon runners, burning fires, airplane cocpits etc.

But lets look at the std viggen again, does it really increase boost? Yes it does, but how is boost measured? IN RELATION TO THE AMBIENT PRESSURE.
Second guestion, does std viggen increase manifold absolute pressure?
Hardly if altitude does not go crazy. We know at sea level it runs ~1bar of boost and at 3000m elevation it will run 1.4bar boost. Difference in ambient prssure 0.3bar. So if the MAP is at 2.0bar at see level it will be 2.1 at 3000m elevation, which is roughly double to where you're located. Climb rate for the boost will increase with altitude, due to other factors which step in, like the rasing manifold temp.

As you have stated several times, please correct if I'm wrong but your MAP is about the same as it is at sea level for a similar tune. A T7 car would basically behave the same as your, run the same MAP.

If you compress the air more you will get more heat, but how many times have I asked you to MEASURE your intake temps to get to the bottom of this matter. You have a big IC right? It has a big heat sink, right? Will the IC work just fine for a short period of time even with out barely any airflow through it, like through a short dynorun. It is a heatsink and what does it do, it absorbs heat and trust me it will cool just fine for a period of time depending on the thermal mass it has. Add some flow, even if it is thinner, it will buy time, enough to get through a dyno run IMHO.

The second thing that will happen is increase in turbine back pressure, decreasing engines capability to "breath". So you VE will go down, but how much is the guestion.
