I too have been toying with this idea as I have a rebuilt 900s motor in my garage and a tired turbo in my conv. Also keep in mind that you have to supply oil to the turbo and drain the oil away. I would take a good look at the block differences to make sure that it is just a matter of drilling a couple of holes for the connections or if there is no provision on the block to do this. Also I would install the turbo distributor with it's boost retard advance curve.
