It sounds like a fun project and the LPT can really bring the 900S alive!
If planning to remove the cylinder head, plan on removing material from the head combustion chambers in order to reduce compression ratio. If done correctly, you can bring the CR to 9:1 while implementing your factory N/A pistons. A thick head gasket will do more harm than good with respect to valve/cam timing unless using adjustable cam sprockets. If making performance enhancements, your 2.0 liter cylinder head could also be modified to flow better than the 2.1 liter designs.
EZK ignition will work with you on this project but it may be a good idea to look into an aftermarket adjustable ignition system with retard (MSD, etc).
Fuel system may find you reverting to the 2.5 or 2.8 bar fpr and factory 900 turbo fuel injectors. The RRFPR would be an alternative with your factory N/A fuel injectors.
Boost pressures at 10 psi should be safe with the 16V N/A camshafts but 15+ psi will create problems with the N/A valve overlap. It may be a good idea to run turbo camshafts if opting for higher boost levels.
Good luck with your project!
