Do you guys think it could be valve seals or something like that? Never have known them to cause this at high boost but just a random thought.

I checked play on the turbo today... it seems normal compared to other known good ones I've felt up. How easy is it to replace that seal on a TE05? Can I do it?
Also about a month ago I replaced the check valve and the associated vac hoses for it thinking that could be it... actually that check valve I replaced was only 4 months old itself but I thought maybe it was failing under high boost perhaps, so I got a new one (oem saab this time). Smoke is definitely black color but its blackish blue honestly, which, agreed, points to fuel. Its tough to tell when Im heading away at high rates of speed.
In other news today I drove from Nashville to Atlanta, averaged 100 or so I'd say. Looked for the smoke the whole time, I had it pegged a few times, never any smoke even boosting almost 2/3 into red in 4th/5th gears.
Maybe I'll swap out my 3.0 FPR for the 2.8 FPR, see what happens.
