To get such into such a fuss about this? I don't spend this kind of money without doing lots of research, and the same is true here. I talked with several people who are using the Aquamist system, and read everything online that I could get my hands on. The bottom line was, everyone who's used it, had only good things to say, and all the nay-sayers, had never tried it! The shop I frequent used to build and drive the Saab sponsored rally car a few years back, and they too had good things to say about water injection.

As for the starter, that was a gamble, I admit. But, I figured my original one made it over 190k with nary a problem (and in fact the only reason it went bad, was because of defective wire insulation that cause it to run nonstop), so a used one probably has less miles and will be good as well. At the time, I was extremely strapped for cash, so saving the money was my best option. So far, the gamble has paid off, and I can say the same for my used distributor I had put in a year and a half ago.
