Oh, so your 2.0l Saab regularly gets 35 mpg, does it?

Then tell me the Jacobs ignition is worthless. My mileage has gone up 10% or more! And, I'm using a $1 spark plug available anywhere, vs a $4.00 plug I normally have to mail order or get at the dealer.
And forgive me, but I was under the impression that SPG9 ARE the pros, maybe I'm wrong on that... have you ever tried advancing or retarding the timing on your modified Saab to see the results? Only takes a few minutes and a couple test runs to see what the AID can do for you.
Sure, if you are keeping your engine all stock, obviously you aren't going to need to AID or water injection. But what can be bad about getting 10% better mileage? That's money right in my pocket.. At today's gas prices, the igntion will pay for itself in two years. I've been coming here for many years, and have not once seen any discussion about Jacobs Ignitions.
I find insulting of my intelligence for others to assume that I just slap parts on without doing any research. Quite the opposite is the case, as I'm sure is true of many if not most people here. I'm sure you're not intending to call me a liar, but one could easily interpret it that way.
Sorry to get so worked up about this. I was under the impression that some folks might be interested in my latest project. If you can't stand to see how I've 'wasted' my money and time, don't read my posts.
