When I saw your car, I thought "why?"

I couldn't figure out where you are going with your car. With the ground effects kit, wing, and carbon hood, my first impression was that you wanted to make a SAAB ricer, a la Honda/Acura, maybe to be featured in Fast and Furious IV: Stockholm Snow Drift.

You obviously have a lot spent on you car. But in my mind, the finishing touches are not there, especially when compared to your competitors in the dare to be different class.

From a distance, the hood looks novel. Move closer and you can see the fibers. Get too close, and you can see the flaws in the fiber layup in front of the air inlet. Under the weight saving carbon fiber skin, I think I saw the old original support structure. I can't think changing the just the skin from the original metal to CF would really save that much weight to make a difference in performance. I remember commenting to a stranger in the lunch line about your hood and asking him his ideas on what purpose it served. To me, the carbon fiber hood skin didn't look like it was worth the time and money I figured you had put into it, and that it was not done for performance sake, but only to try to win an award and lighten your wallet.

To me, the rear wing does not belong on the car; it does not visually blend with the ground effects package.

If I remember correctly, and my memory quite possible could be a bit hazy, you have a huge amp installed somewhere, as I think I remember a large (maybe 2 or 4 gauge?) red wire running along the top of the passenger side wheel housing, and passing into the passenger compartment. I do not recall that installation being particularly clean. It looked like it was just laid there with no support. If that is not your car, I 'm sorry I blended that memory with the others of your car.

In any event, as far as your car goes, I thought, great start, but it just needs to be (or look) finished. I got that feeling everywhere I looked on your car.

To me, when I compared your car to the competition, it was not as nice an overall package as the other cars in the category.

Just my opinion, and worth only and exactly what you paid for it.

My choice was the Turbo Sonett.
