I've already asked this question on the c900 board & someone told me the ScanTech BPV I got from eEuroparts IS the newer/stronger version...but I want to verify this & I'm sure someone here will know for sure.
The valve for an unmodified 87' 900t. It is OE in appearance w/219 on one half of the top & 01.1157 on the other half. It feels pretty cheap, but then it was only $35 ;) Still, I want to know what the rating is.
Sorry so bother the perf. board with such a trivial question.

Oh...here's another one. I also have an 85' 900t which I plan to throw some money at (as soon as I have some ;) There is no BPV in the rubber elbow off the turbo, but the raised area one would fit in is there. I'd like to install a atmospheric BPV a friend gave me...it's a 'Forge' piston type. It was in a Mazda Speed that got wrecked. I don't think it will readily fit into the OE orifice provided in the stock elbow & I've heard someplace that it should be mounted closer to the throttle body anyway. Can someone tell me how to proceed? The more details the better.
Thanks!!!
