I like what Jeff P's Viggenized SPG had for intake & plan on doing that to mine. Having slots put in the left fender panel to allow fresh air to move where the cruisecontrol rests now. Jeff made a aluminum (I think) enclosure for the air to be forced into the intake pipes.
Exhaust wise, doing that jet hott stuff like Jeff C suggested I am sure is very helpfull. I also picked up a hood from a early 80's 900 which has dual air vents. The one on the drivers side looks like the pass side & I thought that would be extremely helpfull in letting the heat out of the motor compartment with a airflow kit.
They are just really hard to find :o(
I am also getting the IC out from the engine compartment & will be mounting that under the bumber behind the airflow kit. That way it gets fres cool air :o)
