I had actually already looked at that chart, but didn't give it much thought because I can't afford one of their units yet; I thought you had a chart that used some sort of universal formula or something. I've also looked at other high-end units whose CFM ratings do not directly relate to the ratings of equivalent core sizes on that chart, so I really only trust the numbers on that chart as much more than a rough guidline. With that said, the core size I mentioned earlier, that you said can only flow 500 CFM, relates to a bell core with a CFM rating around 865; maybe you mistakenly looked at a thinner core or something. Regardless, I've decided that since it would only cost me another $35 or so, I might go with their M-line (23.5x11.75x3) which relates to about 1175 CFM on Bell's chart; I just have to figure out if it will fit on my car.
Thanks for the links, and the help. I still have an open mind, so if you have an idea of a good intercooler for under $250, that can handle a stage 5 tune, by all means let me know.
