I have been wanting to do this for years, but it is almost impossible with my current c900, a convertible. There have been a few shops that have done this, and it works beautifully. I believe it is Conn-tech that transplanted a tunnel rammed chrysler (either 316 or 360) into a slate blue 83'900. Tubbed rear and everything.
Bo from "Automotion"(Bellerica,MA) built the ultimate sleeper. He transplanted a 5.0 V8 Ford with a Vortech supercharger and rear wheel drive into a early(82'?) 900. It was dark green with the cobra logos and mustang OE rims. Easily over 300 horsepower! It not only flew, it stuck to the ground awesome as well. Think how reliable the car would be and how original. Go for it!
