Pilot error... driver error... each time a manufacturer
has a flaw in his design, it's the user who does the error.
In the case of the TT, the wing shape did produce too much
lift at the rear of the car making it prone to oversteer
at very high speeds. Now the tiny rear spoiler with ESP
reduce this problem.
The good old 911 Porsche as the newer ones have the same
problem, but Porsche added a automatic spoiler years ago
which reduces it, and they have also spend many hours in
wind tunnels to solve uplift problems on their newer cars.
There are no miracles, rounded rear ends produce lift, be it
on a 911, TT, A6 or new A4, to counter it one needs to spend
quite a bit of time doing aerodynamic refinements.
Regards,
Coolknight
