The race springs usually add extra front end rate to reduce brake dive. You may need a rear bar to tweak handling ... try oem.
As much as I like my C900, an early 9K with 2.3L would be a better car for the track. More rugged and efficient gear box, wider track, great oem FMIC, and not much more wt. The better c900 front suspension has less advantage once things are stiffened up for the track. Much better starting point for the track (less work, more fun). Mabe replace your 8VT with 9K?
