Good to hear from you again, Damien!

Yeas, I am really excited about track events that Saabine and I can take part in finally starting to happen over here - I was always quite jealous of you, Stefan Vapaa, John Wirt, James Fox, Sarah Robinson et al having all the fun out there, and Turbo! Team Europe is still way too small and premature to do stuff like that on their own. Hopefully Abbott's initiative will cause more Saabers over here to get off their a**es and take their high speed antics to where they belong - on a closed track...

So what you're saying is that alignment could be significantly off after the fitting of the '88 hubs/axle, even though I just had a straight swap performed (the rest of the set up -springs, shocks- has been under there for years and seemed to be spot on, so I never cared to take it for an alignment in the yeears between)? That's what I've been thinking. Guess I'll have to start sourcing bars & bushings and take it to the shop for fitting of aforementioned items and the Turbo! alignment. What rear bar are you running -SAS? Are your rear bar mountings custom? If so, I'd like a set... :-)

Should have told me about the pinion upgrade, tho'. Have one sitting in my old gearbox -from Eriksson Industries, but I am 99,99% sure it's the same one SD market with a nearly $100 mark up...- with um, about 2,000 kms on it. Can't seem to give away the 'box over here... seems like people here start worrying about their gearbox the moment they break one...

Thanks and Happy Saabing,
Eric
