When I have talked to other tuners about my car which is an Abbott ECU running with a stock turbo running 1.4 bar there jaws drop. As you now know raising the base boost is great at low rpm's but not so in the higher rpm's. The stock turbo will struggle at the high rpm's and eventually just recycle hot air thus defeating the apc which will lower the boost. Every tunner I have talked to claim that his is why my car is not as fast as it should be. By changing your t-25 wheel with the t-28 you have helped your car defeat some of this problem so the air should be cooler and allow the turbo to flow smother thus creating a more steady rate of boost through out the rpm's. Doing this also has created more hp and your certainly well above the 230hp viggen now. To give you an idea if I change my turbo to a super-60 (t-3) with injectors EIP claims the hp numbers could be anywhere between 360-300hp depending on how high I raise the boost. They also claim that I could lower the boost and still have the car run faster due this problem that we already discussed.

I have also change the my tire size from the 205/50/16 to a 225/50/16 which as well has reduced some of the torque steer. I love the 17's but I just can't part with the viking's.

Can't wait to hear what happens in 20k.

Enjoy the boost:-)
