she loves me... she loves me not...
it appears to me that the problems being addressed in fact have nothing to do with performance but in fact are related to resolving differences in physical mounting questions and linkages. the other models board would in fact have been the best place to find info, jeter prolly knows more about the 4 speed than 99$ of the poster here, even more than jordan. as far as 300-350hp ...i agree it is reachable but only a sophisticated control system will make it comfortably streetable, i will in fact surpass it on my next big engine, and i wont be buying it out of a box either.. i also believe that the mysterious 4-speed will suffer the same demise as the others. a 5 speed will also handle 300-350 hp but no transmission will handle abuse and none of them will handle it for very long. does this 4 speed have a 4 chain primary? a different laygear? etc... you sir are the weakest link....so to speak. a stronger case helps but there is more to it than that. as far a $2200. that is like standard fare for a good rebuild. ring and pinion alone is 700. laygear is 400. shotpeening is 40 $ per gear x 8. that and bearings and labor and there you are. now if it were 6-10k i would be impressed.
as far as jordan....oh never mind....i will attribute his rudeness to improper parenting
