It sounds like a boost leak. The first thing that I would check would be the PBV diaphragm and its VAC line for split ends. The back of the diaphragm would have been pressurized from the manifold. Then the sudden loss of boost pressure would have had a large differential pressure across the diaphragm. This is not its normal mode of operation and it might not have survived. But can you be running a stock type BPV at these pressures?

Hoses popping off: The only thing holding them on is friction. I am concerned that you now have oil in the clamped joint. It would help if you degreased the fitting and that part of the inside of the hose.

Are you sure that the oil is not just normal stuff from the crank case venilation? When you popped the hose, any oil collected in the IC, it any, could have been set free by the sudden discharge when the hose popped off. The frist hard run on my 95SET with increased boost produced a cloud of smoke. I attributed this to oil in the IC that stock boost flow rates that could not clear that oil.

I popped the hose at the throttle body* on my 95SET. It is quite a surprise then the throttle seems to do nothing. (* for me it was the coupling hose where I joined the transistion casting back together after cutting it in two so that I could thouroughly egg-shell it to get a less restrictive flow cross section.)
