Thanks very much! 85# - crazy! The 55s supposedly will flow 400hp, more power than I am aiming for already.

Update on my engine: JE will supply new pistons. The wristpin broke in two, and I guess that NEVER happens. Wasn't due to my or my engine builder's faults, so they're covering it. "Dr." 'He Who Cannot Be Named' was incorrect. JE's own analysis confirms some signs of detonation before I went to dial in the fuel, but not enough to break the wristpin.

I do have to do up another block though, but fortunately already have one, indeed it's at the engine builder's right now. The CR will again be 9:1 (as I first ordered them) but nevertheless, I am going to do some stuff to get it closer to 8:1. At any rate, the cams from Crower will need some valve reliefs, if just for my piece of mind.

TPS: EricZ was telling me a stock LH2.4 will work - and I already have one from when I bought the 2.1L intake manifold.

What use would the supercharger relay be? You mentioned boost control - are you running APC still? I'm planning to ditch APC. Already have GReddy Profec-B boost controller, and will of course have the SDS knock control option. Eric tells me the stock Bosch knock sensor can be used.

The electric fan control option sounds cool though. I am ditching the stock fans and already have a Flex-a-Lite fan. It comes with its own thermostat control, which is adjustable. But glad you mentioned the fan control option - this would help eliminate some under hood clutter if I don't need to install the Flex-a-Lite control box, twice as fat as APC, but half the height.

Will definitely get fast idle option - it can get bloody cold here, you know! :)

RPM relay: for sure, but to trigger a shift light? That's all I can think of.

Upgraded fuel pump? I'd like to retain stock location if possible, and the only people offering uprated fuel pumps are Swedish Dynamics. Expensive, and I'm told by a local VW nut (the VR6 Rabbit dude - http://www.vr6rabbit.com) that the thing will flow enough for 650hp - too much? Perhaps a new stock pump for my 300hp aims?

Last question - can you retain stock tach with the F system? I know you're running the E, but did you delete any of the Bosch ignition stuff?

Thanks, looking forward to your email/letter and future discussions. Hope you don't mind me picking your brains, and I hope everyone else can benefit from reading everything we've discussed.
