Of course, of course. "Snap open" was what I meant to say. I'd only had one cup of coffee at that point. I'm not sure about multiple pressure taps and bleeders and ball valves. It just seems to add too many variables, so many that an electronic boost control would do the same thing better. I'm sure SAAB experimented with many types of mechanical boost control before settling on electronic control. I think KevinK is probably right about setting the controller at 3/4 max boost and hoping for the best. Cheap, reliable or fast: pick any two. :)
