real nice work .... like Dean has said, for piston valves, dynamic pressure helps open valve when bottom of piston faces high pressure side. The same pressure creates a lateral force on piston in the 'pressure to side' orientation, that may impede piston movement. Example: at 500 ft/sec air velocity, the dynamic pressure of air hitting surface is about 1.8 psi.
now, how about checking injector duty cycle at max hp, .... or mabe voltage at pump ...
