few quick questions: cis is the stock mechanical fuel injection, right? where can i find a good faq about it? it utilizes an afm of some sort, eh? the only concern i would have by using the stock system would be troubles with the curve involved being adequate for a forced induction system. my concern would be risk of detonation off turbo, as the fuel would be too rich on average without the accompanying air flow. a flexible afm could probably solve that though. needless to say, some more homework in this area would be nice.
the one thing i would like to avoid in the turbo setup is the bosch ignition that has the knock sensor built in. at which point, i'm spending some bucks for an aftermarket dis style system, and for a few hundred bucks more, i have an infinately tunable haltech fi system. it's just a slippery slope of sorts. i'll look into the apc boost control system as well.
so for now, where can i find a good overview on the stock FI system, and where can i find an 81-84 H motor turbo manifold?
more questions when i get to em. y'all will here about this for quite some time i think... ;-)
we're aiming at about 250 horse, btw, but 300 wouldn't hurt ;-)
