...well,the cheap 'n easy quickfix is just a tiewrap,this is very redneck but i've been guilty of it when i had the same problem on my hi-boost 86t...i always wanted to mount some "eyehole" fasteners on the in. man. & secure w/ "racewire" tensioned to hold it down...this is what i'm doing as part of my rebuild for my nused 88spg...
