I agree that any thing past 4.5v is not measuring any thing. We have found by using our datta logger that with most of our toys the air mass meter is a 5V before 4000rpm and the injectors are at 100%. The fuel system is maxed out from there on up. That is why we use a 5th injector system to finish out the fuel curve. On a mostly stock car the turbo creates such a bottle neck that the engine is not able to use the extra if it had it.
I have used the resistor on the 2.2 and achieved what was needed. Using the adjustment in the air mass meter for fine adjusting.
On the 2.4 using the 30# injector and 2.5 regulator work well for me. I like the fact that the 2.4 has a larger window of self adjustment and it allows the ecu to control the mixture longer as the ecu does not see 5 volts as soon.
