Re: fuel stuff ..... Posted by jak [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: fuel stuff ....., Kevin K ![]() |
kevin I definatly understand what you are saying about seeing the end of the mapp & the efect of resisters, injector size & FP on the map
what I did was just to use the brake & heald diferent loads at diferent boosts & rpms while watching the o2 sensor which has great response time bottom to top in about 60 milliseconds & uper & lower read I got .1v to .87v just snaping the throttle meaning ( known good )
what I did was to richen things till I hit the bottom of the map meaning that o2 voltage was high & the ecu was unable to lean it out further to get closed loop than I started to lean things out till I got closed loop out of the WOT part of the switch at these differing loads & rpms than I did a few hard pulls at wot & watched the o2 voltage in open loop & it showed plenty of fuel
for me this was an easier way & required less backpinning & measuring but basicaly got me within controll range throuought the rpm & load spectrum
if you send me a backpinn diagram of the ecu harness Ill look further into dutycycle or pulsewidth allong with amm voltage on the ecu side of the resister & post my findings
thanks for your input you have good info
& are a definate asset to TSN
