From our experiences, the combination of 2.1 liter cylinder head and 2.1 liter intake manifolds leads to a loss in induction velocity under 4K rpm. The 2.1 liter cylinder head with the 2.0 liter intake manifold will see a mild provision from 3500-6K rpm and up over OEM.
A properly formatted 2.0 liter cylinder head will greatly outperform any 2.1/2.3 liter combination from 3-6K rpm.
Our posting was only to keep the "bigger is better" analogy at a minimum when it comes to a majority of street applications.
If you have any questions relative to cylinder head flow information and bhp/torque production, please give us a call or send an Email.
Best Regards!
