Brian
The turbo didn't boost any higher because it was reading a bad mixture, in other words, coolant mixing in with fuel is a bad thing. It feels/seems exactly like knock. It shoots up high, then keeps going back little by little, just like knocking.
Fortunatly, I had a chance to test the new turbo out with the SPG9 Stage 2 APC that I got the same week, without the water injection hooked up. On a nice cool winter night, I was hitting 23PSI, maybe tapering down to 21PSI. With the water injection... 25PSI, without a trace of boost taper. Solid 25.
Airflow bumper wise... spring break from college, they should be getting their final fitments, then sending them off to WASSAAB's paint guy, so around June 1st they will be installed. All Talladega Red bumpers, SPG panels, and airflow arches ( :
Good luck!
Ask always, any questions.. ask!
Take care,
Taylor
