Well I just installed a Abbott racing ECU that I purchased from a local saab dealership. First or all let me list my mods.
Saab Sport exhaust
Manual boost controller
Air intake box modification
BOV
Turbo silincer removed.
Before the ECU I was running around 14 lbs of boost. I went to a local saab dealer today and installed my ECU. Used a Tech II to program it. Anywho went for a drive... Boosted to around 16 or 15. Came back turned up the boost from that to around 20. Car has more boost but i dont think it is any faster. Seems to be a little by i would think it would scream. Maybe because i already turned up the boost before the ECU??Pulls good on the highway...What to do???
I am going to call abbott tomorrow and check to make sure this isnt the Fake box that went bad. Should i try taking the manual boost controller off?? or will it cut the fuel at 14 psi? Any advise would help me a great deal. I dont want to blow my engine right now
Thank you
