...what electric water pump Frank of Sweedspeed used in that B-engined 99 race car? I don't :-(
Re undersize pulley - sounds like a great idea as you will presumably remove a bit of rotating weight (the OE item is HEAVY...) but OTOH on Saabine I don't think I would benefit from any less steering assistance as the steering is fairly weighty on that car as is -having driven the thing, can you shed any light on this?
Do you still like the Phantom Grip? I was thinking of installing one -together with a strengthened rear diff cover, any word on these? but the reviews and references I get on a Google search is contradictory to say the least. read a few horror stories about exploding trannies. Which got me thinking - I can well see how the PG could wear/break the spider gears and put loads on the diff it wasn't designed to take in the first place (and yet, I don't think the diff is a particular weak spot in our trannies, right?) but some of those folks also report it loading up the main/pinion shaft to the point of adverse wear or breaking, and TBH I can't imagine how modifying something inside the diff could do that. I must be missing something, as usual...
