dave this engine thats getting the 2.1 head is an 89 2.0 so the pistons have smaller dishes so unless I remove some material from the combustion chamber my comp wont drop that much
Im puting this head & intake on a motor I bought used with under 100K mi like 3 years ago
Im verry sure that the 2.1 squench bump in the combustion chamber can be removed no problem the 85 head is cut way out in the combustion chambers & I know of others who have gotten even more agressive then we did with the 85 head I got that one with the combustion chambers not completed & the exhaust ports werent even started on so Ill finish that one up :-)
the other engine Im building for the notch wll be totaly balanced with a lightened flywheel running the 85T pistons (cheaper & bigger dishes lower comp)& the sick 85 head I have
you said you have good instructions on the short side radius? otherwise Ill leave them allone as they are one of the more critical parts of a port
well....
