altitudes the boost would increase and then because there is so much load on the car, it would begin to detonate and the boost would back off and as I got higher it would actually run less boost, I think this is in part due to heat soak from going up 7% grades at highway speeds for 30 minutes or so. I've found that I actually get more boost when I let off the gas a bit. Not so in my Viggen, which will easily hit triple digits on any grade up there. Altitude is a different ballgame for cars, but I'll still bet you flew by others
