I find on my car that "overshoots" cause the car to boost very quick and then back down about 4-7 psi (also very quick). This is in the range of max pressure of 24psi. Overshoot due to apc tuning is easy to tell because little throttle response causes boost to come much, much quicker. Drop off on my car is hitting 20 psi(not full throttle, but steady) and then the apc kicks in because of pinging and heat build up . This drop off is only about 1-3 psi when throttle is kept steady. An example is being on the highway and jumping on it in 4th. These can easily be changed with adjusting the pots on the apc. Something that I'm addicted to. If i know i'm driving in town and not on the freeway a lot, I will adjust apc for more overshoot. If i'm communting on freeway, I change it for steady boost. Sounds anal I know. I have digital pics taken of the pots at different levels so it's easy to do.
My 2 cents.
